Grace came

Unfortunately, most of us have grown up under the “law” and were not at all taught about the GRACE we should be living in today. There is a huge distinction to be pointed out here between the law and Grace.

John 1:17 tells us that the law was given through Moses, BUT(one of my favorite words!) grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. God, through the Bible, is very specific in dealing with the two covenants and does not mix them together. Law  is law (old) and grace is grace (new)!

Grace is not a doctrine or teaching: Grace is a Person. (Joseph Prince). Jesus came personally into the world and into our hearts. He did not come to give us more laws, but to give us the truth of what it is to be a child of the Father.

The initial outpouring of this grace is found in Acts chapter 2:1-4. As they were sitting in prayer, the “gift of the Holy Spirit” came upon them and they began to speak with other tongues. This speaking with other tongues is the sign that they had truly been transformed into a new being. This is the same Holy Spirit and the same sign that is given to each and every believer when they (1) confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and (2) believe in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 )

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to ItsAllAboutGrace. This blog is here to encourage you and build you up into realizing that salvation is the gift of grace. It does not depend at all on what you do or don’t do…it is a free gift…earned through the death on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus.

This is my first try at writing a blog. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to pass them on…:-)) I have been “nudged” in the spirit to make this happen, so here we go!

Grace is simple….only believe. It is a free gift. (Ephesians 2:8   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God) Just accept it. There is nothing more you can do to earn more grace! But, the realization of God’s grace in your life will be a life-changing experience.

We will “walk” through the New Testament and see that the overwhelmingly apparent theme is…..GRACE !!

I highly recommend that you explore the wonderful resources available at Joseph Prince Ministries.  I have no connection with this ministry, except that his book “Destined to Reign” changed my life!
